What is the Process?


1) A low-impact equipment system is used to improve ecosystem function of the forest and Cedar Creek, a primary tributary to the Rio Ruidoso—a high quality cold-water fishery.

2) YCC crews and Ecoservants service-learning crews are trained to monitor the project.

3) The highly visible location will demonstrate natural processes restoration techniques complimenting an annual public awareness campaign.

4) Small diameter-wood will be removed to SBS Wood Shavings for utilization into value-added products.
